6.1.E. - Page 15 <br />Task 4.3: Identify Amenities Needs for Parks and Facilities <br />Based on the results of the park tours, data and outreach results, MIG will identify a <br />package of amenities needed at park and recreation facilities. <br />Deliverable: Memorandum summarizing results for inclusion in Assessment <br />Task 4.4: Park Development Costs and Funding Summary <br />MIG will prepare high-level information to help the City communicate planning level cost <br />estimates for select cost categories of activities to meet park needs for the Needs <br />Assessment. <br />MIG will also prepare a menu of options for responding to and meeting the needs created <br />by recent and future developments. <br />Deliverable: Memorandum summarizing results for inclusion in Assessment <br />Task 4.5: Potential Funding Sources <br />MIG will identify a variety of funding sources for capital development of future parks and <br />facilities. MIG will identify variety of funding sources available from federal, state, local, <br />and private sources. MIG will also suggest partnership opportunities that may help <br />increase competitiveness for these funding sources. <br />Deliverable: Memorandum summarizing results for inclusion in Assessment <br />Task 4.6: Draft Needs Assessment Report <br />MIG will prepare a Draft Needs Assessment Report for review by City staff. The document <br />will be visually interesting and have level of graphic production. City will provide MIG with <br />one set of consolidated comments. <br />Deliverable: Draft Needs Assessment Report <br />Task 4.7: Final Needs Assessment Report <br />MIG will incorporate feedback and edits from City Staff and prepare a Final Needs <br />Assessment for presentation to the Commission and City Council. <br />Deliverable: Final Needs Assessment Report (electronic copy and 4 print copies) <br />Task 4.8: Progress Meeting <br />MIG will conduct a meeting by telephone with the City to discuss the final assessment, <br />implementation strategy (in Task 5.2) and next steps. <br />Deliverable: Meeting agenda and brief email summarizing key actions and next steps <br />Deadline: Task completed within 60 days of Task 3.5. <br />Page 13 of 14 <br />ATTY/AGR/2017.291/MIG, INC PARK NEEDS ASSESSMENT <br />REV: 12-13-17 JS <br />
