Recommendation: <br />Approve and authorize by motion the City Manager to execute an agreement <br />with On the Surface Flooring, Inc. of Hayward, California in the amount of <br />$173,800 to replace the carpet in the Main Library <br />B. Award of Contracts for Initial Groundwater Remediation Activities at <br />Sequoia Station Shopping Center <br />Staff contact: Robin Kim, Management Analyst 780-5971 rkim@redwoodcity.org <br />Recommendation: <br />By motion, approve and authorize the City Manager to: <br />1. Execute a Professional Services Agreement with Groundwater & <br />Environmental Services, Inc. in the amount of $153,650 for management <br />and coordination of quarterly groundwater monitoring events and initial <br />remediation activities; and <br />2. Execute Amendment No. 1 to the Professional Services Agreement <br />with Cascade Drilling, L.P. amending the scope and increasing by $18,641 <br />the fees of the original agreement dated November 3, 2016 to perform <br />subsurface drilling and initial groundwater remediation at the site, for a total <br />not to exceed contract price of $75,257 <br />C.
