Existing pumps at <br />the Oddstadt pump station have a capacity of 92 cfs, which is located on the Southwest <br />corner of the project site. Though, this pump station also accounts for areas south of <br />Highway 101 as well as west of the project site across Maple Street, whose flows were <br />not calculated for the purposes of this study. <br />Removal and replacement of an existing SD line will be required due to the footprint of <br />Parking Structure A on the west side of the property. Removing and re-routing this 33" <br />storm drain pipe will have an approximate cost of $ 97,803 to the developer. Assuming <br />the Base Project is designed around the existing lines and no re-routing is necessary, <br />there is a possibility there will be no additional cost to the developer. In either scenario <br />there will be no additional cost to the city. <br />POTABLE WATER <br />Potable water is supplied to the project site from the City's Main Pressure Zone, which is <br />supplied by several turnout connections to the San Francisco Public Utility Commission's <br />(SFPUC's) Regional Water System. For design purposes, an assumed ratio of one to <br />one sewer load to water demand is used to calculate peak hourly demand. This results <br />in a peak flow rate of 426.39 gpm and 309.70 gpm for the Proposed and Base Project, <br />respectively. <br />Available capacity within the transmission mains for the proposed project site is 6,000 <br />gpm, which meets the required peak flow rate for fire flow as well as additional capacity <br />for the building (EIR, Inner Harbor Specific Plan Utilities Engineering Report, 2015). <br />Therefore, there are no additional costs to the developer for upsizing or relocation of <br />existing potable water utilities for the Proposed or Base Project. In either scenario there <br />will be no additional cost to the city. <br />RECYCLED WATER <br />Recycled water is supplied to the project site from the Silicon Valley Clean Water <br />(SVCW) treatment plant in Redwood Shores. An existing 24" Recycled Water line runs <br />along Blomquist Street to Maple Street. There is minimal existing recycled water use <br />within the surrounding region, and available capacity to service the project site (EIR, <br />Inner Harbor Specific Plan Utilities Engineering Report, 2015). This assumes a future <br />booster pump station and regional tank to account for peak flows. This is presented <br />within the Inner Harbor Specific Plan Utilities Engineering Report as necessary to <br />service the entire region during peak flows, and is independent of the proposed project <br />site development. Therefore, there are no additional costs to the developer for <br />improvements or replacement of existing recycled water utilities around the site for the <br />Proposed or Base Project.
