(8-15-92) <br /> O R I G I N A L <br /> 12/14/92 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 11903 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> AGREEMENT WITH LEGAL AID SOCIETY OF SAN MATEO COUNTY <br /> WHEREAS, Legal Aid Society of San Mateo County has been established <br /> for the principal purpose of providing free legal assistance to seniors <br /> and families of modest income who live in San Mateo County; and <br /> WHEREAS, Legal Aid Society of San Mateo County has requested <br /> financial assistance for use by it in conducting its activities during <br /> the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1992 and ending June 30, 1993; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and <br /> desires to pay to Legal Aid Society of San Mateo County the sum of <br /> TWO THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED FIFTY AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($2,450.00) ; and <br /> WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for approval an <br /> agreement between the City of Redwood City and Legal Aid Society of <br /> San Mateo County, and it is the intention and desire of this Council <br /> to approve the same; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br /> FOLLOWS: <br /> That certain agreement (form dated 8-15-92), by and between <br /> the City of Redwood City and Legal Aid Society of San Mateo County, a <br /> copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, <br /> to which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, <br /> is hereby approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized and <br /> directed to execute the same for and on behalf of the City of Redwood <br /> City. <br />
