(8-15-92) <br /> O R I G I N A L <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 11897 12/14/92 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> AGREEMENT WITH COMMUNITY EDUCATION CENTER <br /> WHEREAS, Community Education Center has been established for <br /> the principal purpose of providing a bilingual preschool program for <br /> children and their parents in the City of Redwood City. <br /> WHEREAS, Community Education Center has requested financial <br /> assistance for use by it in conducting its activities during <br /> the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1992 and ending June 30, 1993; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and <br /> desires to pay to the Community Education Center the sum of SIXTEEN <br /> THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED SIXTY AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($16,660.00) ; and <br /> WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for approval an <br /> agreement between the City of Redwood City and Community Education <br /> Center and it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve <br /> the same; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br /> FOLLOWS: <br /> That certain agreement (form dated 8-15-92), by and between <br /> the City of Redwood City and Community Education Center, a copy of <br /> which agreement is on file in the Office of the City Clerk, to which <br /> copy reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is hereby <br /> approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> execute the same for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br />
