O R I G I N A L (8-15-92) <br /> R E S O L U T I O N N 0. 11895 12/14/92 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> AGREEMENT WITH BOYS & GIRLS CLUB OF THE PENINSULA <br /> WHEREAS, Boys & Girls Club of The Peninsula, has been <br /> established for the principal purpose of providing a recreational <br /> and educational program for youth in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> WHEREAS, Boys & Girls Club of the Peninsula requested financial <br /> assistance for use by it in conducting its activities during the fiscal <br /> year commencing July 1, 1992 and ending June 30, 1993; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and <br /> desires to pay to Boys & Girls Club of the Peninsula the sum of EIGHT <br /> THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED THIRTY AND NO/100 Dollars ($8,330.00) . <br /> WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for approval an <br /> agreement between the City of Redwood City and the Boys & Girls Club of <br /> the Peninsula and it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> approve the same; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br /> FOLLOWS: <br /> That certain agreement (form dated 8-15-92), by and between the <br /> City of Redwood City and Boys & Girls Club of the Peninsula, a copy <br /> of which agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to <br /> which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof is <br /> hereby approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized and <br /> directed to execute the same for and on behalf of the City of <br /> Redwood City. <br />
