DES:dik 11/04/92 (016/34) <br /> O R I G I N A L 11/16/92 <br /> R E S O L U T I O N N O. 11887 <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DECLARING <br /> CANVASS OF RETURNS AND RESULT OF GENERAL MUNICIPAL <br /> ELECTION HELD ON NOVEMBER 3 , 1992 <br /> WHEREAS , the Council of Redwood City, by Resolution No. <br /> 11768 , duly passed and adopted on June 29 , 1992 , called for the <br /> general municipal election and requested consolidation thereof <br /> with the Statewide General Election to be held on November 3 , <br /> 1992 the purpose of electing four (4) Councilmembers for the full <br /> term of four (4) years each; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 11769 , adopted June 29 , <br /> 1992 , this Council requested the County Clerk of the County of <br /> San Mateo to render specified election services for said General <br /> Municipal Election; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said Resolution No. 11769 , the County <br /> Clerk has prepared and forwarded to the City Clerk the canvass of <br /> the votes received at the general municipal election held on <br /> Tuesday, November 3 , 1992; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1 . The City Clerk of the City of Redwood City shall be, and <br /> is hereby, instructed to enter this resolution on the minutes of <br /> this Council as a statement of the result of said election. <br /> 2 . The whole number of votes cast in said City at said <br /> general municipal election was 79 , 070 votes. <br /> 3 . The list of candidates nominated for the office of <br /> Council member to be filled at said general municipal election <br /> and the names of the candidates which were set forth in the <br />
