<br />was brought up for discussion, and ChØ.irman Bogie reported that
<br />it was hoped to enlarge Chestnut Street Playground, thus pro-
<br />viding an adequate play area to serve ,the locality. The matter
<br />was held over until the.re,su,l,ts ot the bond issue are known.

<br />NEW BUSINESS:

<br />Recreation Director Morton suggested that the convenience
<br />station at Chestnut Street be removed because ot the excessive
<br />amount of damage to the building and equipment, and set-up at
<br />the Yacht Harbor so that the present bath house at the Yacht
<br />Harbor may be remodeled and made all ,dressing rooms. MSC that
<br />the matter be tabled until the bond issue is voted on.

<br />Frank McAulifte read" ,&,lengthy report containing sugges-
<br />t ions and recommendationø .for 1mprovemen.t s ~t the . Yacht Harbor,
<br />the high point of which was that a full time recreational dir-
<br />ector be. appointed. Director Morton ,made reply to,many of his
<br />suggestions, and in' this connection, it was MSC that the Com-
<br />miss,ion recommend to the City Manager that the ~arious recom-
<br />mendations be concluded as rapidly and as soon as feasible,.
<br />The secretary was instructed to submi t a full l'ist of Hr. '
<br />McAuliffe I s suggestions to, ~he'C1t.y Manager.
