Marsha Blase Ipdkesman, and a group of fellow students <br />~t Sequoia High School appeared to ask the-use of the tennis <br />courts after ebhool when they wer~ not being used by school <br />groups, Saturdays and Sundays. A petition signed by <br />30 girls read," We do not see why t~e tennis courts at <br />Sequoia High School are not open to the. Seq,uoai students and <br />the citizens of Redwood City, It seems to us that the ~e- <br />creation Board should do something about it. Tennis is a <br />sport th~t a good many people are interested in but they <br />have to go the the San Carlos or Palo Alto to play. We <br />have four wélltept courts at the hi~ school, oot ~at <br />good are they if no one can use them? <br />We have tried several times to gej some arrangement <br />so the key could be available, but nothing permanent was <br />arranged. WE WOULD APPRECIATE SOME ACTIONJ J <br /> <br />../}. <br /> <br />Chairman Bogie-recommended that theglrls form a <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />club, electing a president who would hold the key and be <br />responsible for the courts.
