Prese~t were: Commissioners Bogie, Spinas, Alberson, Stiles and Ross. Al Oneto, a new member was introduced. PERSONAL APPEARANCES: None. The mi~tes of the re~l~ meeting of ~rll 28,1942 were read and approved. COMMUNICATIONS: ~ From C. W. El tringham.. Ci ty Clerk, in response to the :,,: C~issions request for the City to purehase the building' used as a police station. He said that the Council had appointed a committee which reported that the Board of Trustees of the Elementary School District did not desire to'sell the building. OLD BUSINESS: Commissioner Spinas said that he did not believe that this had been brought before the Trustees in a Board meeting and suggested that Chairman Bogie go before the Board next Thursday at their regular ,meeting. . NEW BUSINESS: Director Morton reported that Mrs Friend is::~leaving ~ and suggested Miss Gladys wycoff to replace Mrs Friend for the summer arts and crafts program. MSC that the Commission recommend to the City Council the hiring of Gladys wycoff for arts and crafts at the' same salary as Mrs Friend received - hours to be worked out by Director Morton and Mis8:~ Wycoff. Chairman Spinas of the nominating c~mmittee made the following report: Donald Bog~e, Chairman; Sam Alberson, Vic\Chairman; Louise .Stiles, Secretary. ' MSC that the names of the commissioners as suggested by the Nominating Committee be approved and the above named were unanimously elected to serve the commission for the wnsuing year. .
