General: Contractor shall provide skilled and competent workers to perform all work in a timely, neat, and orderly manner. City reserves the right to refuse to accept work or workers who do not meet these standards. Contractor shall be responsible for any damage caused by their operations and shall repair or replace, as directed by the City, said damage within a reasonable time. 2. Citv's Riaht to Inspect and Require Work: The City reserves the right to make inspections whenever necessary to ascertain that the requirements of this agreement are being fulfilled. Deficiencies noted shall be promptly corrected at Contractor's expense. If Contractor fails to perform the work required by the terms of this agreement in a diligent and satisfactory manner, the City may, after 15 days' written notice to Contractor, perform or cause to be performed, all or any part of the work required hereunder. Contractor agrees that it will reimburse the City, and the City may deduct the amount from any sum owed Contractor. The waiver by the City of a breach of any provision of this agreement by Contractor shall not operate or be construed as a waiver of any subsequent breach by Contractor.
