General: <br />Contractor shall provide skilled and competent workers to perform all work in a timely, <br />neat, and orderly manner. City reserves the right to refuse to accept work or workers <br />who do not meet these standards. Contractor shall be responsible for any damage <br />caused by their operations and shall repair or replace, as directed by the City, said <br />damage within a reasonable time. <br />2. Citv's Riaht to Inspect and Require Work: <br />The City reserves the right to make inspections whenever necessary to ascertain that <br />the requirements of this agreement are being fulfilled. Deficiencies noted shall be <br />promptly corrected at Contractor's expense. <br />If Contractor fails to perform the work required by the terms of this agreement in a <br />diligent and satisfactory manner, the City may, after 15 days' written notice to <br />Contractor, perform or cause to be performed, all or any part of the work required <br />hereunder. Contractor agrees that it will reimburse the City, and the City may deduct <br />the amount from any sum owed Contractor.
