Scales, Mrs. 5, S. Mayo. lilliam Hanley, Mrs. Anna Bennett Robb, C.emeDt Baume, Donald Bogie, Park Supt Pasoo Balzarini and Recreat ion Director Red Morton. The Commission had a joint meeting wi th the planning commission in regard to the Vera Avenue extension as suggested by City Engineer Jain. M. Duncan. Following the discussion of this p~ject Commissioner lisœnt Baume opposed the extension of this road and any other pro ject whim would have a tend.fY' to take away property from th e recreat ional areas, He stated that it was no value to the p1rk and that a road through this area would only endanger lives, The motion died tor the want of a second. Reports from members of the commission in the subjects Commissioner Robb wants the street to the follow theczeek. Commissioner Hanley wants the street to follow the creek. and connect on to the amory road, felt there 1Ould be slow speed on a windiDg road and that it would beautify the p8.lt:. Bogie can see some value but insisted that the public both adults and children should be protected. Selaes was undetermined. The road to enter at Vera Avenue and King streets and exit on Valota Road.
