r 1 :~t REDWOOD CITY PARK AND RECREATION COt~\.ITSSION Regular Meeting, May 24th 1949 , The meeting was called to order by Chairman jack Poole at 7:41 p.m. Present were: Commissioners, Mrs. Anna Bennett Robb, Mrs. ,5. S. Mayo, Donald Bogie J William Hanley J Ralph Case J Clement Baume J Andrew Spinae. Pasco Balzarini. Red Morton and Bud Hefner. .. The survey of berth rental fees from Coyote Point I Palo ~Alto. and Redwood City were presented to the Commission. EC by Commissioners Hanley and Robb that the Recreation Commission recommend to the City Council that the berth rentals at the Redwood City Yacht Harbor be increased as follows. Berths 10' I 30' t 3.75 per month Berths. 12' X 40' 5.25 per month Berths 16' X 40 ' 6. 75 per month Berths 16' X 50' 8.25 per month, Berths 20' X 50' 9. 75 per month The present rates or t 3.00 per quarter for small boat s be increased to t 4.00 per month. The present rates or tie-ups or .50~ per month be increased to .75~ per mont h. Redwood City Sea Scouts shall still be given free berth rental. Chaiman Poole asked what the status or the Conmunity Park Sprinkling system was to date. He requested that ir this project was put to bid that the rim or Huttig and Schromm ot Palo Alto be notified. M9C by Conm1ssioners Baume and Spinas that the Recreation Commission recommend to the City Council that the Recreation Department budget be increased . 1,550.00 d11ring the 1949-50 tiscal year.
