Commissioner <br />Donald Bogie stated that if wings were to be built they should <br />not be set aside exclusively for the Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts or Y. M. C. A. <br />but for any organization that wanted the use of them. <br /> <br />A letter from the City Council related to ordinance #525 <br />in which the Commission felt that the Council had followed through <br />in a fine manner. <br /> <br />A letter from the City Council approving the recommendation <br />of the Park and Recreation Commision to allow the Redwood City <br />Women’s Club the use of the Recreation Center for a flower show <br />providing they do not charge admission. <br /> <br />A letter from the West Bay Archers requesting permission to <br />build a small box five feet long, five feet wide and six feet <br />-high at Community Park in the rear of the Baird Lumber Company <br />to be used for the storage of archery targets. <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />MSC by Commissioner! Bogie and Stout that this request be <br />granted for one year. Final approval will be subject to the <br />City Council. The location of the box will be determined by <br />Park Superintendent Balzarini.
