221 A letter from the City Council in regard to additional wing on the Recreation Center ,was referred to the Committee studying the priority lists under the Snyder report. Commissioner Donald Bogie stated that if wings were to be built they should not be set aside exclusively for the Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts or Y. M. C. A. but for any organization that wanted the use of them. A letter from the City Council related to ordinance #525 in which the Commission felt that the Council had followed through in a fine manner. A letter from the City Council approving the recommendation of the Park and Recreation Commision to allow the Redwood City Women’s Club the use of the Recreation Center for a flower show providing they do not charge admission. A letter from the West Bay Archers requesting permission to build a small box five feet long, five feet wide and six feet -high at Community Park in the rear of the Baird Lumber Company to be used for the storage of archery targets. ~ MSC by Commissioner! Bogie and Stout that this request be granted for one year. Final approval will be subject to the City Council. The location of the box will be determined by Park Superintendent Balzarini. Secretary Gold was instructed to direct the letter to the City Council.
