EXHIBIT "A" <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />Funding for this agreement has been granted from the San Mateo County Health <br />System, Department of Behavioral Health and Recovery Services to support the <br />Redwood City and North Fair Oaks Alcohol and Other Drug Prevention Partnership. <br />Youth Leadership Institute ("YLI") will work in collaboration with the ACD Abuse <br />Prevention Partnership to build program capacity in increasing assets and resilience <br />of vulnerable populations through youth development, to increase the number of <br />youth involved in positive leadership and skill- building opportunities, and to provide <br />training and technical assistance for adult leaders and program providers in youth <br />development programs in the community. <br />Youth Leadership Institute specific tasks will include: <br />Support a minimum of two (2) Friday Night Live ("FNL") chapters with technical <br />assistance in Redwood City/North Fair Oaks ("NFO"). <br />Conduct 4 (2 per site) trainings for FNL adult advisors in 2 Redwood City/NFO <br />locations to increase and improve their use and implementation of evidence - <br />based Standards of Practice (SOP) in their work with youth. Outcomes will be <br />measured through a pre- and post- FNL Youth Development Survey which <br />shall be conducted and completed by YLI. <br />• YLI staff will conduct the 2017-2018 FNL Youth Development Survey with FNL <br />youth participants, in collaboration with FNL Chapter Advisors to implement the <br />surveys. YLI will generate a 2017-2018 Youth Development Survey report <br />specific to the RWC/NFO chapters. <br />• Conduct one community education training regarding marijuana prevention. <br />YLI staff will attend monthly Prevention Partnership Steering Committee <br />meetings. <br />Ensure appropriate County reporting and data collection requirements are met <br />including but not limited to entering and maintaining monthly PPSDS records. <br />Submit monthly documentation of FNL technical assistance and trainings, <br />including but not limited to agendas and attendance sheets, to Redwood City <br />2020. <br />Complete other tasks related the Redwood City 2020 ACD Prevention <br />Partnership as assigned and agreed upon by Youth Leadership Institute and <br />Redwood City 2020. <br />Page 10 of 11 <br />REV: 11-09-17 RL <br />ATTY/AGR.2017.265/AOD Youth Leadership Institute <br />
