Layton <br />and that Mr. Layton stated that no one would operate the train this <br />SlJmmer except himself, thus cutting down on, the oil and soot deposita in <br />th swimMing pool. It was discussed that Mr. Layton not be given a nAW <br />lease; and instead, remove the tracks and turf the area. MSC by Willi~ <br />Henley and 1'iellrice Schutz that the Park and Recreation Com,mission <br />recommend to the city council that they approve the cost ßf the supplies <br />and installation of a sprinkling system in Co~~unity Park, in the area <br />adjacent to the east side of the swimming pool and the present location <br />ofi the mineture train. <br /> <br />Chairman Gold advised that therehas been no progress an the War Memorial <br />Building. He stated that the architect has hot yet drawn up the rough <br />plans. <br /> <br />Commission Hanley reported that the Easter Bowl area is patrolled by <br />the Sheriff's office. Commissioner Hanley also advised that the city <br />of Redwood City is not liable for any cars rolling off of the edge of <br />the hill.
