Friendly Acres Neighborhood Association <br />RECEIVED <br />FEB 12 2018 <br />City of Redwood City <br />City Clerk <br />February 12, 2018 <br />Mayor Ian Bain <br />Vice Mayor Diane Howard <br />Redwood City City Council <br />1017 Middlefield Road <br />Redwood City, CA 94063 <br />Mayor Bain, Vice Mayor Howard, Members of the Council, <br />We are writing you in concern of a document that will presented on <br />Monday, February 12, 2018 (tonight) concerning recommendations for street <br />enhancements in our Friendly Acres Neighborhood. <br />We do not support round bouts or traffic circles on: <br />Bay/Charter <br />Bay/15th <br />Bay/Douglas <br />Bay/Fifth <br />Florence/17th <br />We also do not support wasting money on feasibility studies concerning <br />these roundabouts. <br />We do not support a road closure at Bay/Spring. <br />We do not support an additional west bound through lane and Woodside <br />Road and Bay. We WOULD support an additional westbound left turn and through <br />lane on to Woodside. <br />We would like to request bot spots at the turn right before 17th and <br />Florence and a Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacon in both directions. <br />We are in support of a Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacon at Bay Road <br />and 10th. <br />We are in support of bike lanes on Bay Road and Florence as long as they <br />do not remove a traffic lane. <br />
