<br />133 <br /> <br />Beals presented a petition signed by business houses bordering EI Camino. <br />¥BC Alyn Beals and William Hanley that the Park and Recreation Commdssion <br />approve the petition, with the city paying the expense involved. Park <br />Superintendent Balzarini to have necessary cost figures at Council to <br />present in conjunction wi th our re,commendation. <br /> <br /> <br />Commissioner Hanley reported further progress on the Baird property. <br /> <br />Commissioner Schultz stated that he had no further report at this time <br />regarding Farm Hills Subdivision, as the final map is awaiting approval. <br /> <br />Park Superintendent Balzarini reported that the swing unit for Hetch <br />Hetchy play area, donated by the Westwood Terrace Improvement Club, had <br />been received and would be installed. <br /> <br />Commissioner Verssen advised of a letter written by the Commission to <br />the City Council, requêsting the purchase of Lots 23 to 28, Block 37, <br />Central Park #2. This matter is now in the hands of the City Attorney. <br /> <br />Commissioner Schutz quoted prices on Park Department identification <br />patches and was dissatisfied as to prices. He has requested a continu- <br />ance of this matter. <br /> <br />Commissioner Verssen suggested that a letter be written to the City <br />Manager of Palo Alto, asking for a copy of their recent Yacht Harbor <br />survey. <br /> <br />Meeting adjourned at 9:40 p.m. <br /> <br />Louise Tornell, Secre'tary <br /> <br />.. <br /> <br /> <br />, <br />i <br />1 <br /> <br />., <br /> <br />.~ <br />
