<br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />AGREEMENT <br /> <br />Midpeninsula Citizens for Fair Housing <br />Fair Housing Services <br /> <br />THIS AGREEMENT, made and en\ered into this J~ day of ~ <br />2005, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a charter city and municipal <br />corporation of the State of California ("City") and Midpeninsula Citizens for Fair <br /> <br />Housing, a California nonprofit organization ("Contractor") (collectively the <br />"Parties"). <br /> <br />WITNESSETH: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Contractor provides fair housing services; and <br />WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to <br /> <br />conduct the program described in the attached Exhibit B (Contract Objectives), <br />which is incorporated herein by this reference (the "Program"), for residents of <br /> <br />City during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2005, and ending June 30, 2006; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City Council has reviewed Contractor's request; finds that <br />providing the financial assistance will benefit Redwood City and its citizens; and, <br /> <br />desires to allocate to Contractor the sum of Forty Two Thousand Two Hundred <br />Ten and no/100 Dollars ($42,210). <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the Parties hereby agree as follows: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE. City will allocate to Contractor the sum <br /> <br />of Forty Two Thousand Two Hundred Ten and no/100 Dollars ($42,210) for <br /> <br /> <br />exclusive use by Contractor during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2005, and <br /> <br />ending June 30, 2006, solely for the purposes described in Paragraph 2. <br /> <br />CDBG/DJT.cje <br /> <br />7/19/2005 <br />
