In such an event, it shall be the responsibility of <br />2 Contractor to minimize the financial impact to other services being provided as much as <br />3 possible. <br />4 <br />5 2.09 Additional Services and Modifications to Service <br />6 <br />7 2.09.1 General. Agency may direct Contractor to perform additional <br />8 services (including new diversion programs, billing services, etc.) or modify the manner <br />9 in which it performs existing services. Pilot programs and innovative services which <br />10 may entail new Collection methods, targeted routing, different kinds of services and/ or <br />11 new requirements for Waste Generators are included among the kinds of changes <br />12 which Agency may direct. Contractor shall be entitled to an adjustment in its <br />13 compensation in accordance with Article 6 for providing such additional or modified <br />14 serVIces. <br />15 <br />16 2.09.2 New Diversion Programs. Contractor shall present, within 30 days <br />17 of a request to do so by Agency, a proposal to provide additional or expanded <br />18 diversion services. At a minimum, the proposal shall contain a complete description of <br />19 the following: <br />20 <br />21 A. Collection methodology to be employed (equipment, <br />22 manpower, etc.). <br />23 <br />24 B. Equipment to be utilized (vehicle number, types, capacity, <br />25 age, etc.). <br />26 <br />27 C. Labor requirements (number of employees by classification). <br />28 <br />29 D. Type of materials containers to be utilized. <br />30 <br />31 E. Provision for program publicity / education/ marketing. <br />32 <br />33 F. Estimate of the tonnage to be diverted and the methodology <br />34 for determining that diverted tonnage. <br />35 <br />36 G. Five-year projection of the financial results of the program's <br />37 operations in a balance sheet and operating statement format including documentation <br />38 of the key assumptions underlying the projections and the support for those <br />39 assumptions, giving full effect to the savings or costs to existing services. <br />40 <br />41 2.09.3 Agency's Right to Permit Others to Provide Services. Contractor <br />42 acknowledges and agrees that Agency may permit other Persons besides Contractor to <br />43 provide additional Solid Waste services not otherwise contemplated under Section 2.07 <br />44 and 2.08 of this Agreement.
