This will give us the option of doing demolition sooner if there is a <br /> chance to save money. <br /> <br /> Within the proposal are the services of Hathaway Dinwiddie for cost estimating, and <br /> Alpha Tech for electrical and exterior lighting. <br /> <br /> The remaining phases of the design process will be approved through Addendums to <br /> this agreement, approved by City Council. <br /> <br /> The design team is anticipating completion of all construction documents by the end of <br /> this calendar year. <br /> <br /> This agreement does not include the design of the Plaza. That agreement will come to <br /> the City Council in August of this year. <br /> <br /> The first agreement, which is to be approved by both the City and the Redevelopment <br /> Agency, delegates the authority for restoration to the City. This agreement clarifies the <br /> role of both the Agency and the City, with respect to the project. <br /> <br /> Alternatives <br /> 1. Hold off on the design phase until funding for all construction is secured. <br /> <br /> 2.
