Hanley, Cather'ine Brennan, Maurice Schutz and James Knecht. <br />Noted absent were Irving Gold and Alyn Beals. ' <br /> <br />Minutes of regular meeting September 18th arid special meeting <br />October 9th were approved as mailed. <br /> <br />Ole Olson from the Park Department in the absence of-Pasco <br />Balzarini reported on Stulsaft Park. They are still working on <br />phase #1 and that the landscaping at the branch library has been <br />completed at Roosevelt School. ~ <br /> <br />William. Hanley reported on Yacht Harbor- _A progressing slowly. <br />Temporary work has been done on-road, scraped only. A new <br />drain pipe for the temporary d rainange next to the Stanford" Boat <br />house has been put in. <br /> <br />< ¡ <br /> <br />Loui se Tornell and Alfred Morton attended the Samll Craft Harbor, <br />Committee meeting October 29th and stated -that little was said ;' <br />on behalf of Redwood, City's interest. They did report that money <br />'for- planning of the Yacht Harbor, but not for the developing, <br />could be obtained. William Hanley reported an Emergency Measure <br />could be drawn up where money could be borrowed from the State. <br />A lengthy discussion followed on this matter. <br /> <br />Alyn Beals entered the meeting at 8:24 p.m. A. ~ <br /> <br />\....t <br /> <br />Alyn Beals report on tree planting - a si te seeing trip was made <br />by City Manager E. Rolison, Assistant En~neer ~el Moen, Park <br />Superintendent Pasco Balzarini and Alyn Beals, covering'the area" <br />along El C'amino from Broadway north to the City limits. <br /> <br />Mr. Beals read a letter from Mr. Booker, State Highway Engineer, <br />addressed to Mr. Weymouth re the fact that when the Engineering <br />Department sent in the map to the State- they neglected to enclôse <br />an application. Therefor nothing was done by the State. Also <br />stated in letter, upon application the State will proceed with <br />the operation of putting in 66 Liquid Amber Trees.
