Pasco Balzarini reported that signs have been installed at Stafford' Park regards to NO DAGS ALLOWED. Upon appropriate motion Commissioner Hanley moved that the Recreation Depart~nt be provided ~th ~ds in the 19S8-~ budget for qu~ified umpires for the Little League where necessary. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Brenna. Discussion of a golf course so~ewhere around the Crystal Springs was donsidered. This matter was brought up by Co~ssioner,Beals and it is ,to be brought up sometime in the futn.ee. . . . A letter is to be' written to the City Council on the subject of golf' balls at ComITiuni ty Park, aski'ng that a sign be posted. The use of golfballs at Community Park only be allowed when under supervision. . Chairwoman Tornell read a letter from Herbert N. Allen,. First. Congregational Church, regarding the use of Stulsaft Park from July 14 through July 21.
