<br />The regular meeting of the Park and Recreation Commission meeting was
<br />called to order ,'at 8:12 p.m. by Chairman Alyn Beals.

<br />On roll call the followingnwere present Chairman Alyn Beals, Commiss-
<br />ioners Catherine Brennan. Mauri,ce Schti~z. William Hanley. James"
<br />Knecht, Irving Gold and Louise Tornell. Staff member present w as
<br />Red l1orton, Reczteation Director. noted a bs~nt was Pasco Balzarini,
<br />Park Superintendent. . ,

<br />Chairman Beals requested that a letter be written to the City Manager
<br />req11esting the P~rk Superintendent Pasco Balzari.:ril to be present at
<br />the'Park and Recreation meetings once a month.

<br />M. S. C. that the minutes of Oétober 1 be approved with correction
<br />to September 3 minutes. Commissioner Gold expressed his disappoint-
<br />ment in the, Park and Recreation Commission sem1ngly pressing for more
<br />Little'League fields and Ball Parks rather th~ giving more" serious
<br />thought to properly landscaping Community Park.

<br />Chairman Beals read a letter from Serge~t Mansfield of the Poli'ce
<br />Department regarding the directional signs along El C~ino. Letter
<br />to d1.squssed later in the meeting. "

<br />Stulsaft Park- C°Im'Bi"ssioner Gold, reported progress and work is still
<br />being done.

<br />Yacht "Harbor - Comm.1,ssioner Hanley reported that the floats are
<br />being built in Sausalito and will be towed in when finished.
<br />Delivery should be sometime during December.

<br />The low power lines are still causing difficulty. Commissioner
<br />Hanley felt that there was a possibility of having this matter
<br />cleared up beings that Proposition #4 had been passed on the last
<br />election. The passing of this bill has allowed for $60.000.00 to
<br />be issued towards Small Boat Harbors. His feelings are that the city
