<br />Co~ssioner Brennan expressed how plased' she ,was with the film.
<br />Her feelings were that th\~ Fun After Fifty Club was~,,1n need of - a build-
<br />ing of their own and fel~ that the' Commission might be abl,e to help
<br />them in ge8ting their own building. Commi,'ssioner Schutz suggested
<br />that this b e included with the Reereation Facilities for the Bond
<br />Election. Chai~an Beals appointed a committee to look into the
<br />matter of having a arehi tect draw' up plans for the Fun Af'ter Fifty
<br />Building. . ' .

<br />Don.-Dimi tratos showed another film on some of the recreational
<br />activities that the ,Recreation Department sponsor. Following this
<br />film the Commission adjoU1!:~ed to the City Manager's office to have

<br />The regular meeting of the Park and Recreation Corrnnission was called
<br />to order 'by Acting Chairman Maurice, Schut z at, 8: 10 p.m. in the Ci t'y
<br />Manager's Office, City Hall. '

<br />Motion was-made by Gommissioner Hanley and seconded by Commissioner
<br />Brennan that the minutes of January 8be approved as mailed.

<br />Jim Sl,obodian, Regional Director of Li ttl'e Leagues, 58 Broadway,
<br />Redwood City made a personnal appearance to !'equest the Commis'sions
<br />help on several matters. .

<br />The fi.rst request was the use af Hawes Park for Little Le<agues .on
<br />July 31 and August 1. This request was, granted by the Recreation
<br />Department.

<br />Secondly they would like à. 'portable fence put up fo!' the two days.
<br />Pasco Balzarini recommended that they c.ontacta a lumber yard .for a
<br />donation of a portable f ence,fo~ two days. Mr. Balzarini said that
<br />his depart~ent, would be willing rto put the fence up and take it down,
<br />if they are able ~to get a renee., '

<br />Third request was for a Little Leagues pe~ission to use the
<br />concession at Hawes Park on the two days requested. M. S. C.,
<br />Commissioner Hanley made the motion that a letten be written to the
