<br />Yacht Harbor -Hanly reported that the dedication at the' Yacht Harbor
<br />has a fine showing of people considering~the weather was not the,
<br />best. The berths are all completed. with electricity. and water and

<br />Rose 'Garden - Brennan reported that progress is being made.
<br />Commissioner Brennan spoke with members of the California Rose
<br />.Society ànd theyexpressee~hat theY'\ere whole hearte-dly~ in,favor of a
<br />Municipal Rose Garden for ,Redwood City. This' had been the wish of the
<br />Society to have a' rose gård~n on the peninsula: and they were, more
<br />than happy to hear.. that Re'd'Wood City is the first to want to dev,elope
<br />one. Th~y have offered to prune aQd help to care for the rose bushes,
<br />also furnish the rose bushes. A motion was made by Commissioner
<br />Beals 'and seconded by Commissioner. Tornell that the Commis-sion ap-
<br />proves of the development of a Munie1pal Rose Garden for Redwood City.

<br />Discussion o,n how the County has set up their administrati ve body
<br />with their committees. After discussion, the Commission recommended
<br />that a letter be written to. the City Manager asking him to inves_tigate
<br />the COllnty set-up as regards to accepting funds, donations etc. for
<br />Park and'Recreation use.
<br />
