<br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />AGREEMENT <br /> <br />[SERVICE LEAGUE OF SAN MATEO COUNTY EMERGENCY MATERIAL ASSISTANCE] <br /> <br />THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this~r~~;ÿ of August, 2005, by and between the <br /> <br />CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a charter city and municipal corporation of the State of California ("City") and <br /> <br />SERVICE LEAGUE OF SAN MATEO COUNTY EMERGENCY MATERIAL ASSISTANCE, a California <br /> <br />nonprofit organization ("Contractor"); <br /> <br />WITNESSETH: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Contractor provides for the needs of Redwood City residents recently released from <br /> <br />San Mateo County jails, their immediate families, and the families of those who are in custody who reside <br /> <br />in Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to conduct the program for <br /> <br />residents of City during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2005, and ending June 30, 2006; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City has reviewed said request and desires to allocate to Contractor the sum of <br /> <br />Twelve Thousand and No/100 Dollars ($12,000); <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto do hereby agree as follows: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE. City shall allocate to Contractor the sum of Twelve Thousand <br /> <br />and No/100 Dollars ($12,000) for exclusive use by Contractor during the fiscal year commencing July 1, <br /> <br />2005, and ending June 30, 2006, solely for the purposes described in paragraph 2. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />USE OF FUNDS. Contractor shall use the funds provided pursuant to paragraph 1 solely <br /> <br />for the Program purposes described in Exhibit "A" (Contract Objectives) attached hereto and by this <br /> <br />reference incorporated herein. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />CHANGES TO PROGRAM. No changes in the Program described in this agreement which <br /> <br />are funded by the financial assistance provided under paragraph 1 shall be made without the prior written <br /> <br />consent of City. <br /> <br />4. <br /> <br />PAYMENTS. Contractor shall keep detailed and accurate records of all expenditures made <br /> <br />and expenses incurred which are funded under this agreement.
