The question for <br />California, and for the rest of the nation, is whether this new law will be unique to <br />Texas, or does it become the road map that guides all future state and/or federal <br />legislation on the telecommunications issue? Only time will tell, but we do know <br />that telecommunications will be an issue of intense interest over the next year or <br />two in California and in Washington D.C.
