" PENINSULA PARKS AND RECREATION COUNCIL: ~ Commissioner Louise Torne1r attended the meeting and reported back to the Cømmission--There were about 15 who attended the meeting from different city Recreation Departments. This is to include all of San Mateo County and have round table discussions with speakers and ex- change of ideas. The next meeting will be held in January in San Carlos. ('< Pasco Balzarini informed the Cemmissien that the Parks Department took 2nd prize at tne San Mateo Fiesta for Outdoor Public Park Living. It was suggested by Pasco Balzarini that Circle Park be renamed- two names were suggested - - Mr. Gerfin and Lisle Winter. ~ A1YD Beals suggested that a letter be sent to the City Manager stating that Circle Park be renamed and that this Commission may come ~ with a naœ within)O to 60 days. ,. Pasco Balzarini requested that this Comm1ssiÐn take some action immediately regarding the entrance way on the west side of Stulsaft Park before the Oddstad sub~divislon plans are approved. MSC-~Beals and Tornel1--that a letter be sent to the City Manager and the Planning Commission. This Commission would like to recommend new Odds tad sub-division west If Stu1saft Park before any may be approv- ed they give consideration for street easement into the Park also some consideration to drainage and a plan be submitted to this Commission before final approval.
