<br />Regular meeting of the Park 'and Recreation Commission was called to òrder
<br />by Alyn Beals at 8 p.m. in the Conference Room of Veteran's Memorial Bldg.
<br />
<br />Fe¡lowing Commissioners were present: Chairman Alyn Beals, James Knecht,
<br />Catherine Brennan, Stan Sugarman and Jim Slobodian. Absent: Louise Tornell
<br />and Maurice Schutz. Staff members present: Red Morton, Don Dimitratos,
<br />Pasco Balzarini and William Shewry. Dick Wilkinson, Planning Director was
<br />present to answer any questions regarding the C~ooity Pa~ Master plM,

<br />Letter to City Manager James Neal in regard to Modil Plane Flying Field.
<br />The Park and Recreation Commission does not recommend the use of the
<br />Municipal Marina for Model Plane Flying. The Commission feels that this
<br />would disturb people who pay rent for use of the Marina facilities and
<br />further recommend that City Council and City Manager find adequate facilities.

<br />Letter from H. C. Ullrich, Manager Pro Tem. This letter pertains to selling
<br />Marsh Road and Second Ave. property. The Park and Recreation Commission
<br />agrees that the property mentioned above be sold, but the money derived"
<br />from the sale of such p~Dperty be earmarked for Park and Recreation
<br />facilities in the Friendly Acres area.
