Commissioner Gooding said sign ups fo~ day camps hit a <br />snag when a person with ,a number of registrations to make left the line <br />to fill ou,t' the second step of the registrations and took he,r place <br />later in line to conclude the process only to find that persons ahead <br />of her had'fill~d the classes. Commissioner' Gooding suggested a loud <br /> <br />- ' <br /> <br />speaker to keep the line informed of status of the signup procedures <br />and notification made whe~ full at the end of the-line so persons will <br />not wait in vain. That preliminary sìgn~p cards could be filled out <br />at home. The information was given that Sequoia takes younger children <br /> <br />, - <br /> <br />now for swimming. - <br /> <br />Commissioner stuart had a report from Pasco Balzarini on' bowling <br />greens. Mr. Balz~rini said the excavation and build~ng of it <br />would be $24, 000 and maintenance $5, ,000. <br /> <br />Commissioner Sipes: This is the first concrete report on the, <br />Marina for a long time and 'so far, have got along with little guidance <br />except for the mayor's committee. Commissioner Sipes has read t~e re- <br />port and thinks it contains much good -study and planning and will focus <br />attent'ion o,n it in the future.
