109 Mrs. Thompson stated that rules a~ revised at last Commission meet- ing have been turned over to Mr. Balzarini for processing throuqh Ci~y Manager to City Attorney Çi~d Co~ncil., 8: CREEK COVERING - COMMUNITY PARK: Chairman Beals said that - dis- cussion had been had by Council at its meeting of Oct. 24th and tha~ Commissioners Knecht and Thompson and Sipes had attended. Mr. Knecht advised that City Manager had presented Staff recommendations that work at this time be limited to thorough cleaning and minor re- alignment 7 that gunniting of creek would not be a good idea and that the estimated amounts of $97,000 for funding for gunniting of creek be encumbered for other- type of improvements of the cree~ and addi- tional funds sought for ultimate covering of creek, either from remaining bond funds or review at next years budget time; and that action taken at Council~meeting on a motion to "go on record as '"' looking with favor on cover ing - of creek and referred -to St-aff -- --fo~ review during Budget meetings" had passed: that Councilman Peter- son had suggested a pond as part of the proj~ct a~d Commission thinking for covering of creek. Chairman Beals complimented Mrs. Thompson for information prepared for Council re Community Park creek covering and the importance of getting it out. A letter of thanks was requested to be written to Mr. Ullrich and - - Staff for work done on their report. PAR¡< SUPERINTENDENT - ON OLD OR NEW BUSINESS: l Commissioner Stuart: Mr. Stuart asked Mr. Yoshida for a report on what had happened to his (Mr. Stuart's) complaint to Police Depart- ment re cutting of trees- on' Stulsaft-? ' Mr-. Yoshida såid that Police Dept. had no record of complaint. It was suggested that a check be made as to why the complaint was not logged. - - Commi¡ssijoner Knecht: Suggested a field trip with Park and Recreation Departments to check on progress and projects.
