Further discussion regarding the descriptions of the <br /> alternatives is presented in Section 1, Introduction, B. Project Approach. <br /> <br /> Development and analysis of additional alternatives, perhaps involving <br /> alternative site planning concepts based on the work of the City's urban <br /> design consultant, mixed uses, or specific alternative sites may be included as · <br /> an optional task. <br /> <br /> The narrative discussion of each alternative will consist of three subsections: <br /> <br /> · Description of Alternative, which will describe the uses, intensities, and <br /> design concept of each alternative, and will contain a brief narrative <br /> description of its distinctive characteristics and objectives. <br /> <br /> · Distinctive Environmental Characteristics of Alternative, which will <br /> identify the major differences between the impacts of the proposed <br /> project and those of the alternative; and <br /> <br /> · Status of Alternative, which will indicate the status of each alternative <br /> and its relative environmental advantages and/or disadvantages. <br /> <br /> Statutory Sections <br /> On the basis of information presented in the EIR sections described above <br /> and consultation with City Staff, the EIR will contain the following additional <br /> EIR sections, as required by CEQA: <br /> <br /> · Significant Environmental Effects of the Proposed Project (including <br /> significant, unavoidable effects) <br /> <br /> Effects Found Not to be Significant <br /> <br /> · Growth-inducing Impacts of the Proposed Project <br /> <br /> · Distribution List, and Persons and Organizations Consulted <br /> <br />3-6 Abbott Laboratories West Coast Research Ce~:ter EIR J <br /> <br /> <br />
