<br />EXHIBIT A <br /> <br />CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />PARCA (Peninsula Association for Retarded Children and Adults) <br />FISCAL YEAR 1999/00 <br /> <br />CONTRACT OBJECTIVES <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />Have at least 2 participants in Project REACH who lives in Redwood City attend the before and <br />after school child care program during the school year, 5 days per week. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />Have at least 2 participants from Redwood City attend the summer recreational programs and 2 <br />field trips per week. Participants will also partake in at least one of the following scheduled <br />recreation activities: art and crafts, science project, cookery project, sandcastle building, lunch <br />bag animal making, leaf people making, planting flowers, kite and windsock making, balloon <br />rocket making, puppet making, board and ball games. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />Have at least 2 participants who reside in Redwood City learn socialization and recreational skills <br />through activities offered at Project REACH. Children will participate in indooor and outdoor <br />games such as baseball and kickball, to learn turntaking, communication, teamwork and <br />appropriate interaction skills. Pre and Post test will be given to measure progress of each <br />participant. <br />
