<br />EXHIBIT A <br /> <br />CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />TEEN PREGNANCY COALITION OF SAN MATEO COUNTY <br />FISCAL YEAR 1999/00 <br /> <br />CONTRACT OBJECTIVES <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />Provide three 10-week sessions of Teen Talk to 290 students residing in Redwood City attending <br />Kennedy, McKinley, Cloud, Clifford, and Selby Lane Schools. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />Provide ten, parent-teen comprehensive sexuality education workshops, in English and Spanish, <br />at the above school sites and other agencies to improve communication between parents and <br />teens. Approximately 150 Redwood City residents will be served. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />75% of students enrolled in the program will answer 90% of post test questions accurately, <br />showing an increase in knowledge about birth control, sexually transmitted diseases, HIV, and <br />sexual violence. <br /> <br />4. <br /> <br />Provide lunch at the ten workshops of "Teen Talk" lunchtime sessions. <br /> <br />5. <br /> <br />Implement the designed l.9ng-term evaluation .of Teen Talk at Kennedy and McKinley SChO~ <br /> <br />Comp\e~ed <br /> <br />ql'lCf <br />
