<br />EXHIBIT A <br />CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />SERVICE LEAGUE OF SAN MATEO COUNTY <br />FISCAL YEAR 1998/99 <br /> <br />CONTRACT OBJECTIVES <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />Provide food (up to 3 days) for 400 released inmates, their families, and the families of inmates <br />who reside in Redwood City. <br /> <br />Provide short-term emergency housing for 250 released inmates and their families when welfare <br />assistance is not available. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />Provide supportive counseling, networking support and direct referral to assist 485 Redwood City <br />residents permanently resolve their emergency. <br /> <br />Hope House has as principle objectives for FY 1997/98: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />To provide for the emergency living needs of 30 women in a therapeutic and drug/alcohol free <br />environment. <br /> <br />2. <br />3. <br /> <br />To re-unify 4 parents with their children as loving and responsible parents. <br /> <br />To return 5 women to our community as productive and responsible citizens and mothers able to <br />maintain a clean and sober lifestyle. <br />
