FXS: d 11/10/92 (048/31) <br /> O R I G I N A L 11/16/92 <br /> R E S O L U T I O N NO. 11885 <br /> RESOLUTION RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 11741 RELATING TO <br /> THE ACCEPTANCE OF A BID FOR THE MUNICIPAL SERVICES <br /> CENTER FUEL SYSTEMS REPLACEMENT PROJECT AND AUTHORIZING <br /> DEMAND ON CONTRACTOR AND BONDING COMPANY <br /> WHEREAS , by Resolution No. 11741 , adopted May 11 , 1992 , the <br /> Council of the City of Redwood City, accepted the bid of Hess & <br /> Hess Construction, Inc. , in the amount of One Hundred Ninety <br /> Seven Thousand Three Hundred Forty and No/100 Dollars <br /> ($197 ,340 .00) for the Municipal Services Center Fuel Systems <br /> Replacement Project; and <br /> WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 11741 , the Council authorized and <br /> directed the City Manager and the City Clerk to execute, and to <br /> attest thereto, respectively, the Agreement (form dated 5/01/92) <br /> by and between the City of Redwood City and Hess & Hess <br /> Construction, Inc. ; and <br /> WHEREAS , Hess & Hess Construction, Inc. , has not provided <br /> the City of Redwood City with satisfactory evidence of insurance <br /> coverage and bonds , as required by the Agreement; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1 . Resolution No. 11741 entitled, "Resolution Accepting <br /> Bid for the Municipal Services Center Full Systems Replacement <br /> Project; Authorizing Execution of Agreement for Said Work; and <br /> Directing Return of Security Deposits" , adopted May 11 , 1992 , is <br /> hereby rescinded. <br /> 2 . This recision does not in any way serve to release Hess <br /> & Hess Construction, Inc. , and/or surety company of, or relieve <br />
