DES : dft ' ^/05/92R (028/31) <br /> _ /14/92R <br /> WHEREAS , paragraph 17 of the Lease Agreement provides that <br /> modifications or additions may be made to the Lease Agreement <br /> provided that such amendments are not forbidden by the Charter of <br /> Redwood City or other law; and <br /> WHEREAS , the aforesaid proposed revisions are not forbidden <br /> by the Charter nor other law, but are necessary to facilitate use <br /> of the leased premises consistent with the intentions of the <br /> parties as expressed in the Lease Agreement; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AS <br /> FOLLOWS : <br /> 1 . That certain Lease Agreement entitled "Amended Lease <br /> Agreement" (form dated 10/14/92R) by and between the City of <br /> Redwood City, a municipal corporation of the State of California <br /> as lessor , and Human Investment Project , Inc. , as lessee, <br /> pursuant to which said lessee shall lease certain City-owned real <br /> property located generally in the vicinity of Cedar and Hilton <br /> Streets , Redwood City, California, more particularly described <br /> therein, to be used by said Lessee for the construction, <br /> operation and maintenance of a shared-home living facility for <br /> low and very low income persons (as therein described) is hereby <br /> approved, and the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and <br /> directed to execute, and to attest thereto, respectively, said <br /> amended Lease Agreement for and on behalf of the City of Redwood <br /> City. <br /> 2 .
