DES:dik 10/23/92 (012/34) <br /> O R I G I N A L 11/3/92 <br /> R E S O L U T I O N NO. 11879 <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR JARDIN DE NINOS, PALM PARK <br /> AND RED MORTON COMMUNITY PARK PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT; <br /> APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF PURCHASE <br /> DOCUMENTS THEREFOR; AND REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 2 . 65 of the <br /> Code of the City of Redwood City, upon direction, the City Clerk <br /> advertised for bids for the furnishing, designing and optionally <br /> installing, playground equipment at Jardin de Ninos, Palm Park <br /> and Red Morton Community Park in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> WHEREAS , pursuant to said advertisement, four bids were <br /> received; and <br /> WHEREAS, Ross Recreation Equipment Company, Inc. , of Novato, <br /> California, is the lower responsible bidder and it is the <br /> intention and desire of this Council to accept the bid of said <br /> bidder; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1 . The bid of Ross Recreation Equipment Company, Inc. , of <br /> Novato, California, in an amount not to exceed One Hundred Nine <br /> Thousand and No/100 Dollars ($109 , 000 . 00) , for furnishing <br /> playground equipment for Jardin de Ninos, Palm Park and Red <br /> Morton Community Park as set forth in said bidder' s bid proposal <br /> dated September 29 , 1992 , is hereby accepted, and said bidder is <br /> hereby declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for the <br /> furnishing of said equipment. <br /> 2 .
