5. Provide rehabilitation services to comply with the Labor Code statutes, regulations, and <br /> rules applicable to workers' compensation injuries. <br /> <br />6. Provide all forms necessary for the Client's processing of benefits or claims information. <br /> <br /> Vocational Rehabilitation <br /> <br /> 1. Ensure that all reviews and other Vocational Rehabilitation processes are performed in <br /> accordance with the Department of Industrial Relations and Labor Code regulations and <br /> guidelines. <br /> <br /> 2. Retain rehabilitation counselors and monitor plans through completion, <br /> <br /> Computer System Reports <br /> <br /> 1. Prepare monthly and appropriately file the following reports for the Client. <br /> <br /> · Loss Run by department <br /> · Cai/OSHA logs and summary by employee <br /> · Alphabetical list of open and closed claims <br /> <br /> 2. Prepare and promptly submit Self-Insurer's Annual Report at no additional cost, <br /> <br /> 3. Prepare and submit reports and claims for reimbursement to the Client's excess <br /> insurance carrier. <br /> <br /> 4. Report all data requested, individually and summarily, in the format and structure <br /> requested by the Client. <br /> <br /> 5. Provide special reports as requested. <br /> <br /> Litigation Cost Control <br /> <br /> 1. Monitor all litigation according to CMI's Litigation Control Program and progress will be <br /> regularly reported to the Client's staff. <br /> <br /> 2. Discuss and coordinate all sub rosa investigations with the Client's staff. <br /> <br /> 3. Examiners remain in control of all issues of litigated claims even when utilizing defense <br /> counsel. <br /> <br /> 4, Obtain settlement authority from the Client's staff prior to negotiation on litigated claims. <br /> <br /> 5. Provide written analysis, options, recommendations, a request for settlement authority <br /> and obtain approval prior to any settlement conference. <br /> <br /> 6. Define all permanent disability ratings in dollars. <br /> <br /> 7.
