PROPOSAL FOR <br /> OFFICIAL NEWSPAPER OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> SEALED PROPOSALS FOR BIDS FROM ADJUDICATED NEWSPAPERS IN THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> CITY WILL BE ACCEPTED FOR THE PURPOSES OF DESIGNATING AN "OFFICIAL NEWSPAPER" <br /> ACCORDING TO SECTION 90 OF THE CHARTER OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY. <br /> Please submit your written, sealed proposal to provide the following services <br /> to the City of Redwood City as its official newspaper: <br /> 1) Please provide rates per column inch for notices of public hearings, <br /> display ads for committee recruitments, bids and other legal matters. <br /> Also include examples of each from a current publication. Please base <br /> your quote on eight point type for legal publications. <br /> 2) Describe frequency of publication. <br /> 3) Describe total circulation. <br /> 4) Describe paid circulation. <br /> 5) Describe frequency of visits to City Hall to pickup publication requests <br /> from various departments. <br /> 6) Describe how last minute changes to publication requests will be handled. <br /> 7) Describe how affidavits of notice of publication will be delivered. <br /> Please provide eight complete copies of all bid materials and any additional <br /> information you feel the Council would want to consider. <br /> Sealed bids will be accepted until 3:15 p.m. , Wednesday, December 2, 1992, <br /> in the City Clerk Department, City Hall , 1017 Middlefield Road, Redwood City, <br /> and will be publicly opened as soon thereafter as possible. The results of <br /> the sealed bids will be given to the City Council for their review, and <br /> designation of the official newspaper will take place on December 14, 1992. <br /> Date: November 2, 1992 Arlyn C.
