DES:dik 09/24/92 (119/32) <br /> O R I G I N A L 10/19/92 <br /> R E S O L U T I O N N O. 11866 <br /> RESOLUTION REJECTING ALL BIDS FOR THE WATER MAIN <br /> REPLACEMENT PROJECT 1991-1992 , PHASE III , AND DIRECTING <br /> RETURN OF BID SECURITY; <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 11785 adopted July 20 , <br /> 1992 , this Council authorized advertisement for bids for the <br /> Water Main Replacement Project 1991-1992 , Phase III; and <br /> WHEREAS , in response to said advertisement, nine bids were <br /> received; and <br /> WHEREAS, this Council has determined that said bids <br /> (including the apparent lowest responsible bid) exceed the funds <br /> available for the Project; and <br /> WHEREAS, as a result thereof, this Council desires to <br /> exercise its reserved right to reject all bids for the Project; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS : <br /> 1 . All bids received in response to advertisement for bids <br /> made pursuant to Resolution No. 11785 , adopted July 20, 1992, for <br /> the Water Main Replacement Project 1991-1992 , Phase III are, and <br /> each of them hereby is, rejected. <br /> 2 . The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> return to each bidder the bid security furnished by said bidders <br /> in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders for said Project. <br /> * * * <br />
