DES:0-ik 10/12/92 (007/34) <br /> O R I G I N A L <br /> 10/19/92 <br /> R E S O L U T I O N NO. 11864 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING PURCHASE OF FOUR POSITION TAPE <br /> LOGGING MACHINES AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF PURCHASE <br /> DOCUMENTS IN CONNECTION THEREWITH <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 2 . 76 of the Redwood City Code, <br /> this Council has suspended the requirements of Article VII of <br /> Chapter 2 of the Code of the City of Redwood City relating to <br /> competitive bidding for the hereinafter described purchase; and <br /> WHEREAS , the Police Department requires four position tape <br /> logging devices for the emergency dispatch center at the new <br /> police facility; and <br /> WHEREAS , this Council desires to approve the purchase of <br /> said machines in an amount not to exceed Nineteen Thousand <br /> Dollars ($19 ,000 .00) ; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS : <br /> 1 . This Council hereby approves the purchase of four <br /> position tape logging machines from the Zeetron Corporation in an <br /> amount not to exceed Nineteen Thousand Dollars ($19 ,000 . 00) . <br /> 2 . The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> execute all documents required in connection with the purchase <br /> authorized herein (in form approved by the City Attorney) for and <br /> on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br />
