0 R I G I N A L <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14078 <br />10/23/00 <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING AND APPROVING REVISED <br />HOUSING ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL PLAN OF THE <br />CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />(1989 — 1999 HOUSING ELEMENT) <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Redwood City has duly <br />reviewed and approved a proposed revised Housing Element of the General Plan of the <br />City of Redwood City (1989 — 1999 Housing Element); and <br />WHEREAS, on May 17, 1993, the City Council of Redwood City adopted the <br />revised Housing Element of the General Plan of the City of Redwood City, as evidenced <br />by Resolution No. 11987 (draft dated January 14, 1993); and <br />WHEREAS, this Council, after public hearing duly noticed and held, desires to <br />approve and adopt the proposed revised Housing Element of the General Plan of the <br />City of Redwood City (1989 — 1999 Housing Element); <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br />Pursuant to the provisions of Article IX of Chapter 18 of the Code of the City of <br />Redwood City, this Council hereby approves and adopts that certain revised Element of <br />the General Plan of the City of Redwood City (1989 —1999 Housing Element), draft <br />dated May 15, 2000, and approved by the Planning Commission on July 18, 2000, a <br />Reso-1002 1 <br />R/S h /sh /Redwood /Council <br />FXS:rg <br />09/28/00 <br />
