(Continued . from January) - Mrs. Fischer again told that she wished to buy the 32'x56' piece as she planned to add a room to her home which would take some of her yard "area and would like the park property to square her gar- den off. Mr. Balzarini suggested that the property to be sold to Mrs. Fischer. Commissioner Knecht's motion to recommend the sale was lost for want of a second. ,,' - (Commissioner Morgan entered the meeting at 7:51 p.m.) Commissioner Thompson stated that she felt it was not a good policy to start selling bits of park property from Stulsaft, or any other park in the City, as it would be setting a precedent which could encourage similar requests from other property owners. - - £o~j,~~toE~~E~~9n moved that the commission NOT recommend selling the property to Mrs. Fischer, seconded by Commissioner Mabie, and passed by the following vote: YES - Commissioners Mabie, Stuart, Thompson, and Whitmore; NO - Commissioners Knecht and Morgan. Chairman Stuart thanked Mrs. Fischer for appearing and advised her of her right to appeal to Council.
