Mr. Ullrich explained the ad- visability of Commission making recommendation regarding type of site utilization - open stream or culverted - as early as possible, as decision would have to be made soon as far as the city is concern- ed with regard to storm drain plans for the park. Commissioner Morgan's motion to accept p~an A-an open stream system on presently owned city property-was lost for want of a second. Commission discussion was had on advisability of discussing the ~ matter of Community Park Master Plan as agenda item 1 for the meeting of Jan. 7, 1970, and this item only, the balance of agenda then beinq':'~ handled at a regularly adjourned meeting on January 14th. Commissioner Thompson moved that Commission discuss the matter of the park master plan at our meeting on January 7, and then adjourn- ing to the following Wednesday, Jänuary 14th, for handling of add- itional agenda items, seconded by Commissioner Stuart, and passed, ~ Commissioner Morgan voting NO, and Commissioner Schenck abstaining, and Commissioner Whitmore-being noted absent. Commissioner Thompson suggested a Master Plan for utilization of Hetch-Hetchy rights-of-ways be developed so there would be some basis for start of funding for such a project after the SF Water Company installs its proposed parallel lines.
