<br />The undersigned understands that the City reserves the sole right to reject any or all <br />bids and to waive any informality in bids received. Award will be made which, in the <br />judgment of the City Council, is to the best interest of the City. <br /> <br />It is agreed that this proposal may not be withdrawn within a period of thirty (30) days <br />after the date set for the opening thereof. <br /> <br />Enclosed herewith is a (certified Check, cashier's check, bond for the sum of <br />One-thousand, five-hundred, forty-eight Dollars <br />($ 1 ,548.00 ) dollars, being not less than ten (10) percent of the total <br />amount of this proposal and the undersigned agrees that, in case of his default in <br />executing the contract after award and due notice thereof, the said check or bond and <br />the money payable thereon shall become and remain the property of the City, as <br />liquidated damages without proof of loss within ten (10) days of notice. <br /> <br />The representations made herein, are made under penalty of perjury.
