<br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />AGREEMENT <br /> <br />PROFESSIONAL CONSULTING SERVICES - <br />TRAFFIC STUDY/ENVIRONMENTAL ANALYSIS <br />FOR 500 ARGUELLO STREET <br /> <br />THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this <br /> <br />/.;;/ day of <br /> <br /> <br />, 2000, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a <br /> <br />. al corporation of the State of California, ("City"), and FEHR & PEERS <br /> <br />ASSOCIATES, INC. of San Jose, California ("Consultant"); <br /> <br />WITNESSETH: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City requires a traffic study and environmental analysis in <br /> <br />order to understand the traffic impact of a proposed development of a five-story <br /> <br />94,177 square foot office building on a 1.58 acre parcel located at 500 Arguello <br /> <br />Street in the City of Redwood City (the "Project"); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in connection with the Project, preparation of a traffic study <br /> <br />and environmental analysis is required pursuant to the California Environmental <br /> <br />Quality Act ("CEQA"; Pub. Res. Code §21000 et seq.), the State Guidelines <br /> <br />implementive thereof ("State CEQA Guidelines"; 14 CCR §15000, et seq.) and <br /> <br />the City's Regulations implementive thereof; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to City's Regulations, City has determined that the <br /> <br />traffic study which is part of said environmental studies and documentation shall <br /> <br />be prepared pursuant to contract entered into with Consultant subject to funding <br /> <br />therefore by Hunter/Storm LLC (the "Developer"); and <br /> <br />Agmt-345 <br />F: Sha red/Redwood/Co u ncil <br />FXS:rg <br />04/05/00 <br /> <br />1 <br />
