Box 391 <br />Redwood City, CA. 94064 <br /> <br />RE: <br /> <br />Dear Brian, <br /> <br />Pre-Construction Phase Services Proposal <br />Redwood Shores Community Library <br /> <br />We are pleased to submit our proposal for the remainder of the Preconstruction Phase services. <br /> <br />Our proposal is based on the hourly rates presented and approved by the City in our Agreement for <br />Professional Consultant Construction Management Services, dated December 2, 2004, for the <br />schematic design phase. Following is our menu list of services with fee, for the City to choose from. <br /> <br />0 <br /> <br />75% DO Estimate - $14,522 <br />0 Kitchell shall produce a detailed estimate of Anderson Brule Architect's Design 75% <br />Development plans and specifications. <br /> <br />0 <br /> <br />75% DO Value Engineering Workshop - $10,084 <br />0 Kitchell shall conduct a single day value-engineering workshop with our in-house <br />architect and engineers, in collaboration with the City and Anderson Brule Architects <br />and their design consultants. <br />0 Kitchell shall prepare a formal report to the City, outlining all the value-engineering <br />suggestions, by category with assigned estimate values. <br /> <br />0 <br /> <br />75% CD Estimate - $18,237 <br />0 Kitchell shall produce a detailed estimate of Anderson Brule Architect's 75% <br />Construction Documents plans and specifications. <br /> <br />0 <br /> <br />75% CD Value Engineering Workshop - $10,211 <br />0 Kitchell shall conduct a single day value-engineering workshop with our in-house <br />architect and engineers, in collaboration with the City and Anderson Brule Architects <br />and their design consultants. <br />0 Kitchell shall prepare a formal report to the City, outlining all the value-engineering <br />suggestions, by category with assigned estimate values. <br /> <br />0 <br /> <br />100% CD Constructibility Review - $6538 <br />0 Kitchell shall perform a constructibility review of Anderson Brule Archiects's 100% <br />Construction Document plans and specifications. <br />0 Kitchell shall prepare a report to the City of its findings, with recommendation, for <br />implementation into the plans and specs, prior to the issuance of plans and <br />specifications to the bidders. <br /> <br />Please advise your acceptance of our proposed services.
