It could not be converted to Exempt status <br />because the factor on Toxic Chemicals/Radioactive <br />Materials (HUD Notice 79-33) could not be assigned <br />an nAn rating. <br /> <br />Three items under this factor need further action <br />which should be made project approval conditions as <br />follows: <br /> <br />PCBs: Request P.G.& E. 1) to inspect the pole mounted <br />transformer in front of the project site for PCBs; <br />and 2) if PCBs are present, to take appropriate <br />action to ensure safe levels and prevent exposure <br />to the public. <br /> <br />Lead in Water: Test water for lead content; if it <br />exceeds 15 parts per billion, take appropriate <br />mitigating measures to ensure safe water delivery <br />to project residents. <br /> <br />Asbestos: Submit a written plan or 'Notice of Intent <br />to Rehabilitate' to the Air Pollution Control <br />Officer (APCO) at least 10 working days prior to <br />removal of Regulated Asbestos Containing Materials <br />(RACM) . <br /> <br />Cec~ el <br />
